We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Alston for Athletes  https://www.alstonforathletes.org/  to provide a student athlete scholarship program.  This program will serve as an alternative to Fall sports that have been cancelled by COVID 19.

We are raising funds in order to provide 4 months of access to all of the programs offered at Rogue Academy in Columbia, Md. The programs, which include Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Self-Defense, Fitness classes, and Performance Coaching are aimed at replicating the camaraderie, focus, coaching, and fitness provided by scholastic sports. Information about Rogue Academy can be found here https://www.rogue-academy.com/

Those interested in applying for a scholarship can do so on our Scholarship page. https://workplayobsession.com/scholarships/

These scholarships are available to any student athlete in good standing within the Maryland public school system. No previous training or experience necessary.

Our interview with current IBJJF Black Belt World Champion, Mahamed Aly. Great conversation about Mahamed’s journey from a child in Brazil to the top of the podium and the mindset required to compete at the highest levels of Jiu Jitsu. Don’t miss our interesting discussions about fear management and giving back to your community, Jiu Jitsu’s impact larger than competition.
