Quick update.

Below is our Community Text Line number.  This number is a direct text message line to communicate with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our direct outreach mechanism.

We realize a lot of our content and outreach does not reach our community members & those in need due to social media algorithms and advertising getting higher priority. When you join our Community platform you will receive all of our updates, giveaways, and event notifications. We currently text no more than 1 x every two weeks or the week leading up to a giveaway / event.

Oh! This number works both ways, you can text us if you have questions about an event or scholarship opportunity or if you just need a shoulder to lean on and want to have a conversation. We will receive 100% of your messages, no algorithms or advertising walls.

Veteran led, veteran run non profit organization. Shared experiences, shared challenges, shared growth. Building a community. We are here for you.

All Call for anyone willing to join our team on the 2020 Howard County Out Of Darkness Walk. For this first time in All In Foundation history we will be forming a team to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.

The Out of Darkness Walks are the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s signature event, with participation from friends, family, and supporters who have been impacted in some way by suicide. The Howard County edition will be held at Lake Elkhorn, Columbia Md on October 10th.

After the walk the All In Foundation will host a social gathering where we can share our personal stories, bond, and remember our loved ones who have passed. This event will be for Team All In members and family only.

If you would like to join the team you can sign up at the link below.

Stay on the lookout for the Team All In Fundraiser t-shirt launch. The team is currently working on the design and should be ready to go live soon!

If you can not make the event but would still like to donate to the All In Foundation or purchase a t-shirt, donations can be made on our website and the shirts will soon be available on Custom Ink (link TBD).

Yesterday we ran our first event of 2020 and our first event with more than a Jiu Jitsu focus. Our intent while planning the event was to introduce art lovers to Jiu Jitsu and Jiu Jitsu lovers to art. The vision and creativity required to be successful in either is actually quite similar so combining these activities seemed to be a good approach for bringing people together. Overall, we had a bunch of fun painting new WPO canvases and rolling 5 minute rounds while making new connections.

Our main contest for the evening was a challenge to create an individual work of art on a 4×6 card. These 4x 6 works are going to be turned into patches and sewn onto our large A7 Gi (donated by Gi’s for Gi’s) for a sort of “patchwork blanket”. This Gi “blanket” will be put on display at local academies, fire stations, and military hospitals in an effort to raise awareness for mental health and to help reduce the stigma associated with discussing mental illness.
