The MSG Daniel Lovell Foundation (MDL Foundation) – Vets helping Vets.

“Teams of veterans work together on automotive restorations to donate to other in-need veterans, or as a team preparing for the 24 Hours of Lemons. It provides a setting where veterans can share stories and provide emotional support while working towards a common goal. MDLF provides national awareness by participating in car shows, amateur races, and organizing other awareness events.” https://www.ydr.com/story/news/military/veterans/2019/11/26/suicide-soldier-ptsd-sparks-friends-mission-help-others/4273849002/

As highlighted by the York Daily Record, the MDL Foundation is a veteran led foundation focused on helping veterans heal the invisible wounds of trauma. The Foundation leverages one of our key principles of Social Interaction, team building, and bonding through automotive work and vehicle restoration. January 14th the foundation will host “Danny’s Birthday Fundraiser,” an annual event that celebrates Dan’s birthday while raising critical funding that allows the foundation to provide veteran outreach programs.

We are proud to work closely with the MDL Foundation and support their mission. Please visit their website for details on their upcoming events and other ways to provide support. https://www.mdlfoundation.org

Announcing our new “Community Builders Page”. On this page we will highlight people and organizations that are veteran owned or have a mission to serve military, law enforcement, and first responders. We will also spotlight individuals who volunteer their most precious equity, time, without asking for anything in return. The sole purpose of this particular page is to help spread awareness of these programs in order to help build the community and to thank those who keep this program moving forward.

Our mission is “All In,” we welcome any program or service that supports our methodology of Trusting the Process. Physical Activity, Rest and Recuperation, Optimal Nutrition, Cognitive Training, Emotional Regulation, Social Interaction, and Synergy. No bullying, No Politics.

If you would like to recommend a person or organization to be spotlighted on the page please send us an email at WPOALLInFoundation@gmail.com

This week we spotlight a good friend of mine, Mateo Nunez. I’ve know Mateo for maybe 4 years or so and since day 1 he has always offered to help the foundation in any way possible.

Mateo has been on two WPO podcasts and helped plan and coordinate a third, he has been instrumental in collecting Gi’s for our military members at Belvoir Grappling, and most recently has taken up the charge of acting as our ambassador in Puerto Rico. Mateo headed off to the island to help support the Jiu Jitsu Winter Challenge and talk to veterans about the All In Foundation and our mission assist those looking for a sense a community. Big shout out and thank you for everything you do!
